Also read in November of The Books of Enoch: The Apocrypha consists of the books that are found in the Greek version of the Jewish Bible—the Septuagint, the apocrpyha complete version of the Bible we possess—but that were not included in the final, canonical version of the Hebrew Bible. Maybe because American culture is of a Protestant stamp and they disfavor them. Most of the books have never been found in any Hebrew form at all.
I feel that a person can read it goorspeed a grain of salt and take something valuable away with them. Maybe it even meant as much as to say my name “Thomas” derives from the Disciple Thomas.
Yet they include such important works as The First Book of Maccabees goodsoeed, the Wisdom of SolomonEcclesiasticusand the stories of Susanna, Tobit, and Judith, and other works of great importance for the history of the Jews in the period between the rebuilding of the Temple and the time of Jesus, and thus for the background of the New Testament.

Ancient Book Of Jasher: I purchased this book in while doing some biblical research. It reads much like a book of the Bible, although it is purely historical in nature. Jun 10, Legion is currently reading it. I pulled it off the shelf this year to read in goodepeed entirety.
But the Puritans discredited it and byit was no longer considered a part of the Bible. There was history, fiction, advice, poetry, etc. Daniel ends up proving that Bel is f I read 1 Maccabees 1, 2, 8, and Get to Know Us.
